Mary Lou's Annual "Story QuiltHappy Go Lucky Quilt Retreat"
June 2nd FARM CHICKS shopping day in Spokane and the retreat in Post Falls Idaho at the JACC artist's center begins the 3rd and ends at noon on the 8th.
Cost $600. and most people book their hotel room a mile away at Templins on the River in Post Falls. Meals are included and Miss Tina from LA will be our chef this time around. You will all love her and her cooking too.
Mary Lou will be teaching more free form cutting and piecing to make a one of a kind story quilt and will show you techniques to get your artist out and surprising you and those around you. This is alot of fun!
Farm Chicks is a once a year antique and collectible show in Spokane and we planned to hook on to it because it is so much fun and it has awesome things for sale that you could encorporate into a quilt!

Prepare to have lots of fun, learn new ideas with creativity and color, make friends, visit a great quilt shop open only for us, and one of the evenings we will hold a no host dinner at the famous Coeur d'Alene hotel. Mary Lou will be offering her story quilt class for the first time in the midwest in hopes that those who don’t travel to the West or the East will have a chance to tell their own story in a quilt which will be there for years to come to say what is important and dear to that quilter.
